MITER GEARS

Miter gears are a type of bevel gears composed of a pair of bevel gears with the same number of teeth and a pitch surface angle of 45°. Just as in bevel gears, there are straight miter gears with straight tooth traces and spiral miter gears with twisted tooth traces. In addition, there are special miter gears called angular miter gears whose shaft angles are not 90 degrees.
